Artist's Comments I am so tired of people walking around, saying, "I'm a nerd!", "I'm a geek!", and even worse, "I'm a band geek!" THE ERA HAS ENDED WHERE BEING IN BAND WAS UN-COOL, STOP ACTING LIKE IT HASN'T. Knowing text tags is not computer smarts. Liking science doesn't qualify for liking chemistry. Wearing Glasses makes you look GOOD, NOT Nerdy or Geeky. Listening to a few Indie-pop bands and the bands your indie friend TOLD YOU to listen to DOES NOT make you alternative. And watching Mythbusters does not make you a geeky science nerd. I am so tired of people walking around saying that stuff, when I just have to swallow my geeky-pride and smile. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
