the blue pill makes me happy
the white one makes me eat
the pink soothes my body
and often lefts me cheat

they float around my belly
dissolving into filth
crawl through my veins
make my brain still

the wires wrap around them,
frantic for the feast
cutting them wide open
slaying wretched beasts

the goodbyes bleed purple
dripping down like thread
'useless' cries, so subtle
inside my empty head

'I love you' makes a promise
to return again someday
before the prozac razors
chase them far away

when the massacre is over,
whats left is a blank page
a simple child sitting
in a wide and open cage

I'm searching for the shadows,
begging for the tears
for I write my poems in poison
for my blood is oh, so clear.
